On October 31 I will be doing something I don’t understand at all–I will be fielding questions via Twitter. This will be from 10:30 to 11:30, again PST. Full disclosure–while I am more than happy to do this, and I encourage anyone out there who wants to participate to ask whatever questions they like, I have never had a Twitter account, nor have I ever wanted one. An account was set up under my name via the London office of Thames and Hudson, and while I *think* I understand what we will be doing, I cannot be sure, so there this could be something of a fiasco. But I will try my best. I to say “we’ll be using the twitter hashtag #empireofdeath”–I am sure that means something to people who understand Twitter.

Book signing and photos at Pasadena Dia de los Muertos, Oct. 8

October 8 is the opening of the 28th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit at the Folk Tree in Pasadena, CA. The book will also be featured there, with copies available and a book signing going on, as well as a small but select group of photos form the book being shown at part of the show. The opening will be from 2 to 6 pm, and it the Folk Tree’s most popular yearly event. Please see the following link for details; the Folk Tree is located at 217 S. Fair Oaks.

I have been ridiculously busy and delinquent in posting some things, but the first photo show and book signing will be Saturday, Sept. 24 in Los Angeles at La Luz de Jesus (4633 Hollywood Blvd.); so any of you who are in LA, please feel free to come by–your presence will drown me in a river of joy, and it is the first time the book will be available to the public anywhere in the world.
